Hardcastle, Henry, M.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1866, goes the South-eastern circuit, J.P. Essex, author of Construction and Effect of Statutory Law, editor of Bushby's Election Law, Hardcastle's Election Petitions, joint editor of Election Petition Reports, a student of the Inner Temple 15 Nov., 1862 (then aged 21), called to the bar 30 April, 1866 (eldest son of Joseph Alfred Hardcastle, Esq., M.P., of Writtle, Essex); born , 1841; married 12 Oct., 1865, Maria Sophia, 4th dau. of late Sir John Frederick William Herschel, Bart., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
