Harper, Leonard, practises before the supreme court of New Zealand, a student of the Middle Temple 30 Oct., 1860, called to the bar 6 June, 1863 (2nd son of Rt. Rev. Henry John Chitty Harper, bishop of Christchurch, New Zealand); born , ; married 30 June, 1864, Johanna Dorothea Dyke Acland, youngest dau. of late Arthur Henry Dyke Toyte, Esq., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage, Acland).
