Coll., Camb., goes the Northern circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 30 April, 1872 (then aged 19), called to the bar 27 Jan., 1879 (eldest son of John Bernard Hartley, Esq., of Letrualt, Shandon, co. Dumbarton); born 16 Nov., 1852; married 10 Nov., 1880, Laura Blanche, youngest dau. of William Currey, Esq., of Weybridge.
