Harvey, Alexander Smith, B.A. London Univ. 1864 and a member of Convocation, goes the Oxford circuit, H.M.'s consular service China 1872-8, retired on a pension, a student of the Inner Temple 5 Nov., 1874 (then aged 30), called to the bar 18 Nov., 1878 (2nd son of Alexander Harvey, professor of materia medica Aberdeen Univ.); born 18 Feb., 1844.
