Headlam, Francis John, M.A. (scholar and fellow), Univ. Coll., Oxon, 1855, from Eton, stipendiary magistrate at Manchester since May, 1869, a student of the Inner Temple 4 Feb., 1855 (then aged 25), called' to the bar 17 Nov., 1858 (6th son of late Ven. John Headlam, archdeacon of Richmond and vicar of Wycliffe, Yorks); born 9 June, 1829; married 26 Nov., 1872, Matilda Anne, dau. of Simon Pincoff, Esq., of Ardwick, Manchester, and has issue (see Foster's Our Noble and Gentle Families).
