Heygate, William Unwin, M.P. Leicester 1861–5, Stamford 1868, South Leicestershire 1870–80, M.A., Merton Coll., Oxon, 1850, an Etonian, J.P., D.L. cos. Herts and Leicester, late capt. Leicestershire yeomanry, a student of Lincoln's Inn 6 Nov., 1846 (then aged 21), called to the bar 19 Nov., 1850 (2nd son of late Sir William Heygate, of Roecliffe Hall, co. Leic., Bart.); born 12 March, 1825; married 6 July, 1852, Constance Mary, only dau. of Sir George Howley Beaumont, Bart., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
