Higinbotham, (Hon.) George, M.A. Trin. Coll., Dublin, 1853, puisne judge of supreme court of Victoria since 1880, a reporter in the staff of Morning Chronicle 1849-53, edited the Melbourne Argus 1856-9, member of Melbourne Legislature 1861-71, attorney-general 1863-5, and sometime vice-president of theBoard of Land and Works, a student of Lincoln's Inn 20 April, 1848 (then aged 22), called to the bar 6 June, 1853 (5th son of Henry T. Higinbotham, Esq., of Dublin); born , 1827.
