Hood, Henry John, M.A. Brasenose Coll., Oxon, conveyancer and equity draftsman, joint author of Hood and Challis on the Conveyancing and Settled Land Acts (second edition 1884), a student of the Inner Temple 12 Jan., 1866 (then aged 21), called to the bar 10 June, 1870 (eldest son of Henry Schuback Hood, Esq., of London); born 13 Aug., 1845; married 10 Aug., 1870, Dorothea Mary, only dau. of Charles George Dick, Esq., of the Middle Temple, bar.-at-law.
