Humphery, Sir William Henry, Bart., so created 10 Dec., 1868, M.A., Wadham Coll., Oxon, 1853, high sheriff Southants 1873, M.P. Andover 1863-7, formerly standing counsel to the Irish Society, went the South-eastern circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 16 Nov., 1849 (then aged 22), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1852 (2nd son of John Humphery, of Battersea Rise and Clapham, Surrey, M.P. Southwark, etc.); born 25 March, 1827; married 2 July, 1850, Maria, youngest dau. and co-heir of William Cubitt, Esq., of Penton Lodge, M.P. (see Foster's Baronetage).
