Johnson-Ferguson, Jabez Edward, M.A, St. John's Coll., Camb., 1875, J.P. Lancashire, assumed the additional surname of Ferguson in 1881, a student of the Inner Temple 4 April, 1870 (then aged 20), called to the bar 25 April, 1877 (only son of Jabez Johnson, Esq., of Pennington Hall, co. Lanc., J.P.); born , 1850; married , 1874 Williamina Margaret Ellen, dau. of William Alexander Cunningham, Esq., J.P., of Manchester (and niece and heiress of James Ferguson, Esq., J.P., of Auchenheath and Wiston, co. Lanark), and has issue.
