Coll., Dublin, M.A. 1832, member of Council of Legal Education 1851–4, a student of the Inner Temple 10 Nov., 1826, called to the bar 4 May, 1832, Q.C. , 1849, bencher 27 April, 1849, serjeant-at-law 11 Jan., 1860 (2nd son of Major-Genl. Sir Henry Sheehy Keating, K.C.B.); born 13 Jan., 1804; married 17 June, 1843, Gertrude Marianne, 3rd dau. of Major-Genl. Robert Evans, R.A.; she died , 1864, leaving issue.
