Lascelles, Francis Henry, F.S.A., LL.B., Trin. Hall, Camb., 1854, author of Horse Warranty and of Law of Juvenile Offenders, J.P. Surrey, a member of the South-eastern circuit, practised before the High Court at Madras and Calcutta, secretary to Earl Marshal, Duke of Norfolk, 1870–2, a student of the Inner Temple 14 April, 1862 (then aged 37), certificate of honour 1st class Trin., 1864, called to the bar 6 June, 1864 (eldest son of Francis Lascelles, Esq., late of Glandolfan, co. Pembroke, dec.); born 16 Jan., 1825; married 30 May, 1850, Mary, dau. of Samuel Nevile Ward, Esq., of Baston Hyes, Kent (see Foster's Peerage, V. Molesworth).
