Lees, Thomas Orde Hastings, B.A. Trin. Coll., Dublin, chief constable Northamptonshire constabulary, formerly sub-inspector royal Irish constabulary, went the Midland circuit, a student of the Middle Temple 24 Jan., 1871, called to the bar 9 June, 1880 (only son of Rev. John Lees, M.A., rector of Annadown, co. Galway, dec.); born 22 Feb., 1846; married 24 Aug., 1871, Grace, only child and sole heir of Joshua Wigley Bateman, Esq., of Thornely Hall, Northants, secretary to duchy of Cornwall (see Foster's Baronetage).
