Lindsay, William Alexander, M.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1872, a member of the Northern circuit, portcullis pursuivant of arms 1882, a student of the Middle Temple 21 Dec., 1869, called to the bar 30 April, 1873 (eldest son of Hon. Colin Lindsay, of Deer Park, Devon); born 8 June, 1846; married 7 May, 1870, Lady Harriet Gordon, 2nd dau. of George, 5th earl of Aberdeen, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage, E. Crawford).
