London Univ. 1865, appointed puisne judge supreme court Gold Coast 2 and resigned 25 Jan., 1882, a member of the Northern circuit, a student of Lincoln's Inn 31 May, 1870 (then aged 23), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1874 (eldest son of Richard Lumb, Esq., of Liverpool); born 19 Sept., 1846.
