Maitland, Keith, M.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1882, LL.B., B.A. 1878, a member of the Midland circuit, capt. 3rd batt. Princess Louise's Argyll and Sutherland highlanders, a student of the Inner Temple 12 Jan., 1877 (then aged 21), called to the bar 21 April, 1880 (2nd son of Sir Alexander Charles Ramsay-Gibson-Maitland, Bart.); born 5 July, 1835; heir presumptive of his brother, who is believed to be Earl of Lauderdale (see Foster's Peerage).
