Mason, William Henry, B.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 2nd class in classical tripos 1869, from Harrow, served in "Sherwood Rangers" yeomanry cavalry Dec, 1865, to June, 1882, a member of the Midland circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 22 April, 1869 (then aged 22), called to the bar 30 Jan., 1872 (eldest son of George William Mason, Esq., of Morton Hall, Notts); born 24 May, 1846 (see Foster's Peerage, E. Redesdale).
