Nicol, Donald Ninian, M.A. , Queen's Coll., Oxon, 1872, a member of the Northern circuit, J.P., D.L. Argyllshire, a student of the Middle Temple 4 Nov., 1865, called to the bar 26 Jan., 1870 (only son of John Nicol, Esq., M.D., of Ardmarnoch, co. Argyll, J.P.); born 8 Oct., 1843; married 26 Nov., 1874, Anne Millicent, eldest dau. of Sir Edward Bates, Bart., M.P., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
