Nicoll, Alexander Charles, a member of the South-eastern circuit, joint author of Law of Parliamentary and Municipal Registration, a student of the Middle Temple 30 Oct., 1871, called to the bar 6 June, 1874 (eldest son of Charles Richard Nicoll, of London, M.D., late surgeon-major grenadier guards); born 19 June, 1850; married 27 Dec., 1881, Beatrix Wegierski, only child of Capt. E. H. Shewell, late Bombay staff corps, dec., and has issue.
