Norman, John Manship, M.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1825, from Winchester Coll., went the Northern circuit, J.P., D.L. Sussex, late chairman of Cuckfield Union, a student of Lincoln's Inn 23 May, 1818 (then aged 18), called to the bar 22 Nov., 1825 (eldest son of late Robert Norman, Esq., of Dencombe Sussex, dec.); born 23 Sept., 1799; married 24 June, 1830, Catherine Eliza, eldest dau. of late Rev. George Maximilian Bethune, LL.D., rector of Worth, Sussex; she died , 1873.
