Onslow, Alexander Campbell, chief justice West Australia since 1883, attorney-general 1880–3 and of British Honduras 1878–80, B.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1866, went the Home circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 15 Jan., 1862 (then aged 19), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1868 (3rd son of Arthur Pooley Onslow, Esq., of Send Grove, Surrey); born 17 July, 1842; married 4 Feb., 1878, Madeline Emma, dau. of Rev. Robert Loftus Tottenham, of Florence, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage, E. Onslow).
