Camb., assumed the surname of Pemberton in lieu of his patronymic on his marriage by royal licence Oct., 1855, a student of the Inner Temple 16 Nov., 1840 (then aged 21), called to the bar 3 May, 1844 (3rd son of Rev. Edward Hodgson, vicar of Rickmansworth, Herts); born , 1819; married 1 Nov., 1855, Frances Maria Sophia, widow of Capt. Huntley Campbell, 20th regt., only dau. and heir of Francis Charles James Pemberton, Esq., of Trumpington, and has issue.
