Petre, Francis Loraine, matric. London Univ. 1868 from Oscott Coll., assistant magistrate North-west Provinces India, a student of Lincoln's Inn 17 Nov., 1870 (then aged 18), called to the bar 7 June, 1873 (only son of Hon. Edmund George Petre, of Cheltenham); born 22 Feb., 1852 (see Foster's Peerage).
