Seale-Hayne, Charles (Hayne), J.P. Devon, major and hon. lieut.-col. 3rd batt. the Devonshire regt. since 1872, late lieut.-col. 2nd Devon volunteer artillery, a student of Lincoln's Inn 15 April, 1850 (then aged 16), called to the bar 30 April, 1857 (only son of Charles Hayne Seale-Hayne, late of London, dec.); born 22 Oct., 1833 (see Foster's Baronetage, Seale).
