Coll., Camb., a student of Lincoln's Inn 6 April, 1870 (then aged 20), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1873 (only son of Robert Smith, late of Worksop, Notts, gent., dec.); born , 1850; married 13 Aug., 1874, Caroline Anne, 3rd dau. of Rev. Marshall H. Vine, M.A., rector of St Mary-le-Bow.
