Spearman, Rudolph Herries, M.A., Oriel Coll., Oxon, B.A. 1875, recorder of Bridgnorth, since January 1885, a member of the Oxford circuit, author of A Treatise on the Law relating to Highways, a student of the Inner Temple 18 Jan., 1865 (then aged 19), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1869 (4th son of Rt. Hon. Sir Alexander Young Spearman, Bart., P.C., late of Hanwell, Middlesex, dec.); born 14 April, 1845 (see Foster's Baronetage).
