Syer, Rev. Thomas, D.C.L., Queen's Coll., Oxon, 1858, M.A. 1848, LL.D. Camb., vicar of Ravensden, Beds, 1851-63, incumbent St. James', Piccadilly, 1859-64, domestic chaplain to late Lord Blayney, altered the spelling of his name, a student of Gray's Inn 18 Jan., 1839, went to the Middle Temple 23 Nov., 1846, where he was called to the bar 29 Jan., 1847 (eldest son of Thomas Sier, of Overton House, sometime of Dewshall, co. Hereford, gent., dec.); born , 1826.
