Valpy, Robert Arthur, B.A., Exeter Coll., Oxon (2nd class honours in law and modern history), 1868, from Harrow, a member of the Western circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 17 Nov., 1868 (then aged 24), called to the bar 6 June, 1871 (eldest son of Robert Harris Valpy, Esq., of Enborne Lodge, Berks); born 9 Aug., 1844; married 13 Jan., 1874, Edith Alicia, only dau. of Robert Oliver Jones, Esq., of Fonmon Castle, co. Glamorgan, and of the Middle Temple, bar.-at-law.
