Walker, Philip Francis, major late 46th Middlesex rifle volunteers, served in 75th highlanders 1868-73, educated at Harrow, author of Afghanistan, its History, etc., a member of the Western circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 3 Nov., 1873 (then aged 23), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1876 (3rd son of late Edward Walker, of London and Chesterfield, Derbyshire); born 25 Nov., 1849; married 27 April, 1882, Mary Alice, 4th dau. of late Major Beare, 46th regt., of Kingsgate, Kent.
