West, William Cornwallis, major 1st volunteer batt. the royal Welsh fusiliers since 1870, educated at Eton, lord lieutenant co. Denbigh, high sheriff 1872, a student of Lincoln's Inn 8 Nov., 1858 (then aged 23), called to the bar 11 June, 1862 (2nd son of Frederick Richard West, Esq., of Ruthin Castle, co. Denbigh); born 20 March, 1835; married 3 Oct., 1872, Mary, eldest dau. of Rev. Frederick Fitzpatrick, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage, E. Delawarr).
