Mental Capacity Act
Appearance
- Mental Capacity Act 2005 (c. 9), an UK Act of Parliament that provides for the guardianship of people who lack mental capacity and lasting powers of attorney and establishes the Court of Protection. It also implements the Convention on the International Protection of Adults and repeals the Enduring Powers of Attorney Act 1985 (c. 29).
- Mental Capacity Act 2008, a Singapore Act providing for similar issues. It is largely based on the UK's Mental Capacity Act 2005.
