In thy cavern-hall,
Echo! art thou sleeping?
By the fountain's fall
Dreamy silence keeping?
Yet one soft note borne
From the shepherd's horn,
—Strange sweet Echo! into music leaping.
Then the woods rejoice,

From each sister-voice
