Be ardent, be more ardent,

you, Holy Sun.

Oh, Sun of Liberty!

Oh, Sun of a happy future!

We went through the storm,

we reached the end of the road.

We also travelled the paths of darkness,

also the path of light,

the red road to victory,

the pure path of brotherhood.

Be ardent, be more ardent,

you, Holy Sun.

Oh, Sun of Liberty!

Oh, Sun of a happy future!

Our revolutionary homeland

is now in the hands of the workers.

The legacy of the lions,

now belongs to the peasants.

The era of tyranny ended,

the era of the workers began.

Be ardent, be more ardent,

you, Holy Sun.

Oh, Sun of Liberty!

Oh, Sun of a happy future!

We want peace and brotherhood

among the peoples of the world.

We ask for freedom,

for all those who work.

We asked for bread for them,

we asked for shelter and clothing for them.
