The Missing Pilotboat Commerce. We have no tidings regarding the safety of this vessel. She was seen on the 12th inst off Egg Harbor, in company with pilot boat Nettle, No 2, with the wind from ENE, and blowing a gale; she hove to while in sight of the N[ettle], which is the last account we have of her. The pilots on board were: McKnight Smith, of Brooklyn; Mathew Betts, do; Thomas Scott, and Nelson Cole, of this city; Thos. Smith, apprentice (son of the pilot of that name on board); Roger Clark, of New London, boatkeeper. cook, and three men. They are among the most skillful of our pilots. Three of the pilots and the boatkeeper have families.
