Whereas the Announcement of the Council for Democratic Reform No 4 dated the 19th day of September 2549 orders that all the powers and duties which laws provide to be powers and duties of the Prime Minister or Cabinet shall become powers and duties of the Chief of the Council for Democratic Reform or person(s) authorised by the Chief of the Council for Democratic Reform;

In order for the public affairs of the Royal Thai Police Agency to be handled in a smooth manner, [the Council] hereby authorises the Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police to serve as the Prime Minister or Cabinet on behalf of the Chief of the Council for Democratic Reform with respect to the public affairs of the Royal Thai Police Agency. This Announcement shall take effect from now on until otherwise announced.
