Dissolving the House of People's Representatives,

Being the 38th year of the present reign
Phra Bat Somdet Phra Paramin Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej gives a great royal command by which He orders with His pleasure that it be announced as follows:
Whereas the Prime Minister has humbly made the following submission to Him: Over the time that has passed, constitutional amendment has been sought for as many as four times so as to change the way Members of the House of People's Representatives are elected, [in respect of which] people and Members of the House of People's Representatives have expressed dissenting opinions in nearly equal proportions, making it possible for problems of political conflict and violence to happen if Members of the House of People's Representatives are permitted to be elected in such a new way at the present time, [and this] would lead to decadence
