No repeal or amendment shall be made to the Palace Law on Succession, 2467 Buddhist Era.
Section24.The Monarch attains majority upon completing His full eighteen years of age.
Section25.In the event that the royal throne becomes vacant, the Privy Council shall nominate the heir to the throne according to the Palace Law on Succession, 2467 Buddhist Era, to the National Assembly for approval. Once the National Assembly has given its approval, the President of the National Assembly shall invite the heir to the throne to ascend the throne as a Monarch henceforth. Then the President of the National Assembly shall issue an announcement for the knowledge of the people.
Whilst no heir to the throne has yet been announced in accordance with this section, if any person has been appointed as Regent in accordance with the stipulations of section 19 or section 20, such person shall perform the duties of Regent for the time being. But if no such Regent exists,
