Recognition of U.S. Route 101 Business
APPROVED
Beginning at the intersection of U.S. Route 101 and Abbot Street southwest of Salinas, then northwesterly and northerly for 8.9 miles over a combination of Abbot, Johns, Monterey, Market, Main and North Main Streets to the intersection of present U.S. Route 101 north of Salinas.
FLORIDA
Relocation of U.S. Routes 441 and 98
APPROVED
(U.S. Route 441) Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 441, S.R. 15, and a new facility north of Belle Glade, then easterly over the new facility for 13 miles to the intersection of present U.S. Route 98. (U.S. Route 441 and 98) Continuing easterly for 1 mile over the new facility then southeasterly for 4 miles to the intersection of present U.S. Routes 441 and 98.
GEORGIA
Relocation of U.S. Route 27 and Recognition of U.S. Route 27 Business
APPROVED
Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 27 and a new facility just north of LaFayette, then southerly over the new facility for 3.4 miles to the intersection of present U.S. Route 27 in south LaFayette. Redesignate present U.S. Route 27 between these points as U.S. Route 27 Business.
Elimination of U.S. Route 76 Business
APPROVED
Eliminate the U.S. Route 76 Business designation at Blue Ridge.
Relocation of U.S. Routes 82 and 84 (exchange)
APPROVED
Redesignate U.S. Route 82 between the present terminus at I-95 and the intersection of U.S. Route 84 east of Waycross as U.S. Route 84. Redesignate U.S. Route 84 between the intersection of present U.S. Route 82 east of Waycross and the intersection of I-95 as U.S. Route 82. Eliminate the remaining segment of present U.S. Route 84 between I-95 and the terminus in Brunswick.
