beloved Son, robs Christ of that honour which is due to him, and sets at nought the whole revelation of the Gospel, where it is declared, that all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father.
What saith the Scripture?

"Jesus came preaching—and saying—repent ye, and believe the Gospel." Mark, i. 14, 15. "I have taught you publickly, and from house to house,—repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." Acts, xx. 20, 21. "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts, ii. 38. "Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day; and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations." "To him giveth all the prophets witness, that, through his name, whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins." Acts, x. 43. again. "What must I do to be saved?
