עוני I, עני m. (b. h.; ענה II, v. עונה II) misery, povcrty, priשation. Ab. IV, 9 וכ׳ מע׳. . המקיים כל he who fulflls the Law in spite of poverty, shall finally do so in wealth; מע׳ לבטלה סופו... המבטל וכל and he who neglects the Law on account of his wealth, shall finally neglect it fromm poverty.
