Sir Duncan Campbell, fourth Bart., who was forfeited in 1686, and his estates given to Lord Melfort, but the forfeiture was res- cinded 1690. He was in Parliament from 1G89 to 1698, when he resigned his seat, having become a Roman Catholic. He iii. In 1841 the dormant baronetcy was as- sumed by John Eitotjn Campbell, of Kildalloig (son of Dugald Campbell, deputy keeper of the Privy Seal of Ireland), as descended from Duncan Campbell, vicar of Ivilfinan, fifth or sixth son of Donald Campbell, of Kilmory, great- grandunele of the first Baronet.
