As these groups all fit into the Ahaues as I have divided them off, we have in this fact a strong presumption that our division is correct; still, it is proper to state here, as will be shown hereafter, that all these periods will also fit into the Ahaues if the grand cycle is divided according to the theory advanced by Senor Perez. Yet, even on this plan, these periods begin with Cauac years and have the same numbers; the only difference between the plans, so far as this matter is concerned, is that equivalents do not occupy precisely the same position in the grand cycle, but overlap each other three years.
