Four-and-twenty tailors went to kill a snail,
The bravest man among them durstn't touch its tail.
The snail put out its horns, like a little dun cow,
Run, tailors, run, or she'll kill you all now.

XXXVII.

Pussy-cat, pussy-cat, where have you been?
I've been to London to see the Queen.
Pussy-cat, pussy-cat, what did you there?
I frightened a little mouse under the chair.

XXXVIII.

I see the moon, and the moon sees me,
God bless the moon, and God bless me!

XXXIX.

Little Jack Horner
Sat in a corner,
Eating his Christmas pie.
He put in his thumb,
And he pulled out a plum,
And said, What a good boy am I!

XL.

Ladybird, ladybird
Fly away home;
Your house is on fire,
Your children will burn.
