gathered to a band collar. Because the edges are the straight thread of the goods it is expecially easy to make. It’s a practical style for velour, broadcloth, serge or a pile coating. It makes up prettily, too, in crepe silk. A black crepe silk lined with a light shade of crepe silk 1s nice for street wear in the warm weather. Or, make it up in a light taffeta for evening.
The cape can be lined the same as a short cape.
