Bassille: f. Rocke Sampire, Crestmarine.
Bassin: m. A bason to wash in; also, a scull; or sleight, & bason-like headpeece, vsed at barriers. Des Bassins. as Bassinets; Crowfoot. Bassin à selle percée. The pan of a close stoole. Bassin d'vne balance. The scowle of a balance. Cracher au bassin. To lay out, or pay downe readie coine; also, to giue fees; or bestow a reward in hand; also, as in Cracher. Bassine: f. A deepe, or bason-like, and footlesse, posnet, vsed most by Conseruers, or Comfet-makers.
Bassiné: m. ée: f. Warmed, fomented; rubbed, or chafed vntill it grow warme; also bathed, or washed with warme liquor.
Bassinement: m. Warming, a fomentation, or fomenting; a rubbing, chafing, or heating; a bathing, or washing, in warme liquor.
Bassiner. To warme, foment; rub, chafe, hug, heat a thing vntill it be full warme; also, to bath, wash, or heat in warme liquor.

Bastarde: f. A demie Cannon, or demie Culuerin; a smaller peece of any kind.

Bastardise: f. Bastardie, bastardisme; the breeding; state, condition, qualitie, of a bastard; also, the succession of bastards, or that which falls to the king by the death of a bastard.
Baste: f. A wily sleight or subtiltie, a craftie pranke; an odde tricke, or shrewd turne; also, the skirt of a doublet, &c.

Bastelerie: f. Jugling; tumbling; puppet-playing; any such foolish pastime, or legerdemaine; also, buffoonisme.
Bastelet: m. A little boat.
Basteleur: A iugler, tumbler, puppet-player,; one that professeth any of those arts; also, one that leades bears, apes, baboones, or dauncing dogges about the countrey, and gets a scuruie liuing by them.
Basteleuse: f. A woman that makes a profession of Jugling, Tumbling, and such other idle, or base exercises.
Basteliere: f. as Bateliere. Baster. To saddle with a pannell, or packesaddle; also, to looke, or gaze, as out of a window; also, to serue, or suffice. Tant que l'ame me bastera au corps. Whilest I haue breath in my bodie.
Basti. Looke Basty. Bastier: m. A maker of packesaddles; also, a base lubberly fellow.
