Huile de pierre. A soft, and sulphurous mould or earth, which is easily inflamed by any fire thats neere it, and once fired will not be quenched, especially not by water, which cast vpon it, makes it burne the more vehemently; Looke Naphte.
Huile sacrée. Oyle of Amber; called so of it admirable, and secret vertues.
Huile sainct. Holie Oyle; the Oyle wherewith children in baptizing, and others in dying, are among Papists annointed.
Huile Saincte, ou de Sapience. Looke Sapience.
Huile sambacin. Oyle of Jelsomin flowers; good against cold diseases.
Huile sambucin. Oyle of Elders.
Huile Sicyonien. Is made of Oyle Omphacin twice boiled with a lesse quantitie of cleere water in a wide-mouthed Copper veßell.
Huile de vie. Oyle of Vitrioll, called so of it excellent propertie.
Huile Virginal. Virgins Oyle; the Oyle that comes from the Oliue of it selfe, and without pressing.
