I. — On Ophthalmoscopes. The question is often asked, which of the many forms of ophthalmoscope is to be recommended ? The instruments with a revolving disc of lenses behind the mirror have practically superseded the older forms. Their great convenience more than compensates for slight drawbacks which Fig. 24. they possess. The ophthalmoscope of the kind which has come into most general use is that of De Wecker.
