(2.) The following numerals have a second, abbreviated, form.

Ordinal Numbers.
The Ordinal Number for un is întăĭ. The other Ordinal Numbers are formed by affixing the particle le in masculine, and a in feminine, and placing before the numbers the particle al in the first, and a in the second case:
1. întăĭ or al unule, | a una. |
2. al doile, | a doa. |
3. al treile, | a treia. |
4. al patrule, | a patra. |
5. al cincile, | a cincea. |
12. al doĭsprezecile, | a doăsprezecea. |
20. al doăzecile, | a doăzecea. |
21. al doăzecĭ ṣi unule, | a doăzecĭ si una. |
