Somewhat surprisingly, this tribute has not yet been digitised on the internet, so this
copy of the poetical tribute has been taken from The Poetical Works of Miss Landon,
Philadelphia, 1839, a source that naturally omits the portrait of the Princess and the
opening Memoir. The Memoir itself has been taken from The Christian’s Penny
Magazine, 1837, pages 154-155 and the plate is assumed to be that already on
Wikimedia commons, namely Alexandrina Victoria of Saxe-Coburg J Cochran after
George Hayter.jpg, although Landon has already used this in her Fisher’s Drawing
Room Scrap Book, 1837, and it shows the princess at just under 14 years of age.
