Trinity Coll., 27 May, 1562, from Middlesex, aged 15; B.A. 13 May, 1563, fellow 1564, M.A. 28 April, 1567, left his fellowship and retired to Gloucester Hall, went abroad and was constituted by King Henry 'cardinal Cajetane, protector of the English nation at Rome . . . with the power and name of archpriest of England,' 15981607, having been imprisoned first in the Gatehouse in Westminster, and afterwards to the Clink in Southwark, died 12 Jan., 1612.
